Equestrian Fencing & Stable Materials
100% recycled plastic — non-toxic, splinter-free, rot-proof. Built for permanent ground contact in wet UK paddocks.
Why recycled plastic
Why equestrian owners choose recycled plastic
Timber paddock fencing looks acceptable on day one. By year five it's rotting at ground level, splintering at horse height, and needing treatment. Recycled plastic addresses every one of these failure points.
Non-toxic — safe for horses
No creosote, no preservatives, no chemicals. Horses can safely lean on, lick, or chew recycled plastic without any risk. Timber treated with creosote is toxic to horses — recycled plastic contains nothing harmful.
Splinter-free surface
Zero splinter risk. Unlike timber which develops rough edges and exposed fibres over time, recycled HDPE stays smooth. No injury risk from fence posts or boards for horses, foals, or handlers.
Flexible under livestock pressure
Recycled plastic fence boards flex under load and spring back — they won't snap at the base like brittle timber. Horses leaning or pushing against the fence won't break boards or posts, even in hard frosts.
Rot-proof in wet ground
Horse paddocks are consistently wet. Timber posts rot at ground level within 5–10 years — particularly in clay-heavy, waterlogged ground. Recycled plastic has 0% moisture absorption and will never rot, even in permanently submerged conditions.
25-year guarantee
Our recycled plastic posts and fence boards carry a 25-year guarantee. A paddock fence installed today will still be in full service when timber would have required two full replacement cycles.
Zero annual maintenance
No creosoting, no painting, no treating. Once installed, equestrian recycled plastic fencing requires nothing beyond occasional hosing. Eliminates the annual maintenance budget for paddock fencing entirely.

In use across the UK
From paddocks to arena perimeters
Paddock fencing: Three-rail post-and-rail systems using 100mm × 100mm posts and flat boards. Posts driven directly into the ground with a standard post driver — no concrete needed for most paddock applications.
Arena perimeters: Higher boards (140mm wide) create a clean visual boundary that photographs well and stays maintenance-free. No annual treatment schedule.
Stable lining: T&G boards for stable walls. Completely pressure-washable, absorb zero moisture, and have no mould or rot risk — even in permanently damp stable conditions.
Gate posts: 125mm × 125mm posts for farm gates up to 3m width. These carry significant lateral load and need post material that doesn't degrade at ground level over time.

Is recycled plastic fence safe for horses?
Yes. Recycled HDPE contains no toxic chemicals, no preservatives, and no creosote. Horses can safely lean on, lick, or even chew the material without any health risk. The surface is also splinter-free — no risk of injury to horse skin or mouths.
Can recycled plastic posts be driven into the ground?
Yes. Standard post drivers work well with recycled plastic posts. For most paddock applications, no concrete is required. For gate posts carrying heavier loads, we recommend concrete at the base to maximise lateral stability.
Will the fence boards sag over time?
Correctly installed boards at the right span spacing will not permanently sag. Recycled plastic fence boards are designed to flex under load from horses and return to their original position. We recommend 2m post spacing for paddock applications.
How do you fix boards to posts?
Through-bolt or screw fix using stainless steel fixings. Standard gate hardware and fence rail brackets are compatible. We recommend stainless steel to prevent rust staining on the plastic surface.
What colour options are available?
We stock dark brown/black as standard — this matches the typical equestrian aesthetic and doesn't show mud. The colour runs through the full material depth, so scratches don't show white. Colour is stable for the full 25-year life.
